Dohrn and their employees donated much needed items to Good Samaritan Village for Grandparents Day September 8th. A collection box was placed and with the help of Amazon Prime Day, it was filled with personal care items, along with puzzle books and craft supplies. Dohrn was able to gather enough donations to supply al 30 residents submitted with a personal bag. Through their partnership with the Martin Luther King Jr Center. Handmade letters were written by their classes and were included with each grandparent gift. Dohrn’s hopes for the event was to provide entertainment and personal items to residents that may not have family close to celebrate them this day. Their other hopes were to maybe insight a pen pal relationship between the residents of Good Samaritan and the kids at the Martin Luther King Jr. Center.
